That's what my motivation has turned into. I could say that I've been too busy (and believe me I've tried to tell myself that several times lately) or I could say its been because Baby Patch has been sick (a cold & teething could be ALOT worse!) , but they are all just excuses.Really, I just seem to have lost my fire. That burning in your belly that makes you want more. I mean, ofcourse i want more, but its the feeling that DRIVES you to get up at 5am to do your exercise, that gives you the motivation to make a healthy lunch when it would just be so much EASIER to have crap. And I seem to have lost it. Or rather its just seems to have died down.
I did finally get around to putting together my one month photos. They actual pics were taken on the 1st, but I have only just gotten around to comparing them to when I started. Seeing them has helped pick up that motivation a little, as has doing my measurements and finding I have lost 10 cms since I have started. But theres still no real PASSION behind it.
Any suggestions??
I thought I would put up the comparision photos for you all to see. I can see a bit of an improvement, but still no where near what I would like.

I see a major difference. I remember hearing maybe DR. Phil saying that making changes like losing weight is challenging because its like ring close to a fire...you move away when its too hot (your weight being too head is how I saw it) but so slow down from moving away when the fire is just warming you instead of just totaling moving away. He then said ( I think) that that is why isn't more important to have a passion for where you really want to be to draw you to what you want. Does that make any sense...?
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your progress so far!
ReplyDeleteI go through phases of losing motivation and then it comes back then goes away, you just have to push through it, even at my low times I remind myself why I am doing what I am doing and reminding myself I don't want to go backwards.
I've said it before but I will say it again - you are doing such an amazing job and looking fabulous! Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteWe're always more critical of ourselves so let me just be another outside voice saying it - you look incredible! I think that's OUTSTANDING progress for one month!
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know about you but I notice see a pretty significant difference in your pictures. GREAT JOB!! Use that as motivation to get back to it!!
